I was more than happy to use the "script hs()" function in their source code. But most of the changes in their latest version were just cosmetic. I had to make a few changes to the script to prevent a few bugs. And this hack is now finished.
Now Deep Freeze Unfreezer works on W32 (W95, 98, ME), OSX (10.0 - 10.4) and WinXP. But it doesn't work on Linux.
May be it's already too late to do something about it.
P.S. I reported the bug to Faronics some time ago. But I don't know if they did anything about it.

Now the hack only works if Deep Freeze is used on Windows (W95, 98, ME, WinXP). It doesn't work on any other OS.
I had to make one or two changes in their source code. I don't remember which one.

I had the impression that they removed the change to source code. I think that Faronics does not intend to do something about it. But maybe they really did the change.

Well, there is a very easy way to disable Deep Freeze, but it won't work for the latest and greatest version of Deep Freeze, as this method is based on a temporary patch to the Windows tool.
